The Thirteen Hour Clock - the first novel in a new cosmic fantasy and legends series

 I have started a new series of novels, trying my hand at folk horror, cosmic mystery, legends and myths, set in a series of coastal villages in England. This has been really fun and I am delighted with the result. The first novel is now available and sets up the entire series. It focuses on Theia Pharos, who descends from a line of lighthouse builders. She has a destiny entwined with billionaire Harrison Black. She lives in Cymenshore, a village on the coast and paints in her grandfather's lighthouse. 


Theia is a strong female lead with a special gift. I really enjoyed writing her. Cymenshore is like the pendulum village linked to the twelve others that circle ancient Gast Wood like the numbers of a clock. Beneath Gast Wood is an ancient cosmic entity, imprisoned there billions of years ago when the Earth was forming. Book one sets the scene and leads us to the cosmic weapon beneath the lighthouse. It has suspense, mystery, folklore, legend, slow-burn romance, fantasy and threat. Available now from Amazon on kindle and paperback.

I have almost finished writing book 10 in The Secondhand Bookworm series of novels set in an English bookshop. This book is called 'Strange Things at The Secondhand Bookworm'. It has been such fun to write, with strange and weird things occurring in the shop, the arrival of Erik Lodbrok, calls to an abandoned lunatic asylum, government lab and other unusual places, with anything and everything happening in a crazy week of madness, romance, rivalry and fun at the south coast of England's most eccentric bookshop. Halloween Reading 2018 - Halloween at The Secondhand Bookworm. Imagine spending a week in a haunted bookshop.

Imagine spending a week in a haunted bookshop! Nora Jolly runs The Secondhand Bookworm and it's Shriek-Week in Castletown. Last week I finished my fifth novel in The Secondhand Bookworm series which takes place in the week leading up to Halloween! It's a great read and stands alone as the perfect Halloween-themed story, or is best read after 'Summer at The Secondhand Bookworm' (book 4 in the series). It's great to be adding to the series and Halloween at The Secondhand Bookworm now makes five. There are lots of laughs and plenty of bizarre and spooky happenings in the novel as Castletown puts on Shriek-Week.
